Terms of Use

Effective date: 8 November 2026

These Terms of Use apply to the brooom.me website and the Brooom rental cabinet (rental.brooom.me). By using them, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. How we handle personal data and cookies is described in the Privacy Policy.

1. About Brooom

Brooom is an online catalog: a listings platform for scooter, motorbike and car rental offers from independent local rental companies and private owners in Bali. Brooom is not a rental company. We do not own or rent out vehicles, we are not a party to rental agreements, and we do not accept payments or charge commission for rentals.

2. Rental deals

The rental agreement, including the price, deposit, documents, insurance, delivery and return, is made directly between you and the rental company. You contact the rental company yourself, for example via WhatsApp or Telegram. Brooom is not a party to the deal, so you and the rental company are responsible for performing it under your agreement. Brooom is not responsible for disputes between you and the rental company, or for damage, accidents, fines, the condition of a vehicle, or whether it is properly registered and insured. Check the vehicle and its documents before you ride.

3. Listing information

Some listings are collected automatically from public sources, such as public groups and channels on social networks and messengers, and are then processed and translated by machine. Prices, photos, availability, contacts and descriptions may therefore be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Always confirm the details with the rental company before you rent. An image marked "Typical photo of this model" only illustrates the model and is not a photo of the vehicle offered.

4. For rentals

If your rental business or your vehicles are listed on Brooom and you want a listing or your details corrected or removed, email support@brooom.me from a contact that shows you represent that rental. We review such requests and reply to them. If you publish listings through the rental cabinet, you are responsible for their content: it must be accurate and lawful, and you must have the right to use its texts and photos. Keep your password secret. Misleading, illegal and fraudulent listings are not allowed. We may hide or remove a listing, or block an account, if it breaks these terms or if we have reasonable grounds to believe the listing is inaccurate.

5. Your obligations

When you rent and ride, follow the laws of Indonesia: have a driving licence that is valid in Indonesia for the type of vehicle, wear a helmet, carry the vehicle documents and follow the traffic rules. Do not use the site for fraud, do not publish false information, and do not copy its content automatically (scraping, bots, mass downloading) without our written permission.

6. Limitation of liability

We work to keep the site available and the information useful, but the site and listings are provided "as is" and "as available": we do not guarantee that listings are accurate, complete or up to date, or that the site works without interruptions. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Brooom is not liable for losses arising from the use of the site, from information in listings or from deals with rental companies. This does not limit the liability of Brooom for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or any consumer rights that cannot be excluded or limited under Indonesian law.

7. Intellectual property

The Brooom name and logo and the design and code of the site belong to Brooom or are used by it lawfully. Texts and photos in listings belong to their authors or right holders. If you believe content on Brooom infringes your rights, email support@brooom.me with a link to that content. We will review the request and, if it is justified, remove or correct the content.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Brooom is an online listings platform: it publishes information about rental offers and does not take part in transactions between users. Government Regulation No. 80 of 2019 on Trading Through Electronic Systems (PP No. 80 Tahun 2019 tentang Perdagangan Melalui Sistem Elektronik) applies to Brooom to the extent it covers such platforms.

9. Complaints and disputes

If you have a complaint about Brooom, email support@brooom.me describing the issue and, if possible, include a link to the listing. We will review the complaint and try to settle the matter by negotiation. If a dispute with Brooom cannot be settled by negotiation, it will be resolved by the competent court in Indonesia in accordance with Indonesian law. This does not limit your right to use other dispute resolution procedures available to consumers under Indonesian law.

10. Language versions

These terms are published in Indonesian, English and Russian. If the site shows them in another language, that version may be machine translated and is provided for convenience only. If the language versions differ, the Indonesian version prevails.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The new version is published on this page with a new effective date and applies from that date. If you continue to use the site after that date, you accept the updated terms.
